About:International Trains from/to China

Travel to Beijing to Ulaanbaatar

We want to take the train from Beijing to Ulaanbaatar, should we take a train to Hohhot and another from Hohhot to Ulaanbaatar? Then you have to make a stopover of almost 12 hours in Erlian? Or has the direct route already been enabled?

Beijing - Ulaanbaatar train has been resumed since Jun. 3 this year. You can see more details here:
