About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I qualify for the 240 hour visa?

I'm a U.S. citizen, and I depart Singapore for Hong Kong on 12 November, depart Hong Kong on 18 November for Shanghai, depart Shanghai for Beijing on 22 November and depart Beijing for New York on 26 November. Does this itinerary qualify?

Yes, your itinerary is definitely eligible for 240 hour visa free transit and you do not need any kind of visa. You should just have in mind that your flight from Beijing to New York is not allowed to have any kind of landing in Hong Kong. Have a nice visit to China.
