About:China Visa-free Policy

Can we use the visa free option

Hi next year we are fly to Shanghai for 2 days , then we board a cruise ship to sail round Japan . We return back to Shanghai straight to airport to fly back to United Kingdom. Are we able to use the visa free option .

Your route will be UK – Shanghai – Japan – Shanghai – UK, right? Then, you can enjoy a 240h and a 24h visa free transit respectively for your two layovers in Shanghai. You only need to apply for a temporary stay/ entry permit every time you arrive in Shanghai.
