Uk- HK- Guangzhou- Macau - HK.

Hi. Does this route work under the 240 free hours visa rule? And how is the best way to get from Guangzhou to Macau? Can we get trains from HK to china and then from china to Macau? Does it have to be the ferry? Thanks

Yes but you need to provide a ticket to Macau. People usually take a cross-border bus to Macau or take a train to Zhuhai Railway Station then enter Macau through Gongbei Port which does not applies to you as you need a ticket to Macau directly. You cannot take train from HK to China as West Kowloon is not an eligible port to enter Mainland China under the 240h visa-free transit. So it's recommended to take a ferry to Nansha south of Guangzhou.
