So, upon landing in Guangzhou, the first thing that you will do is to approach 24/240 hour visa free transit counter where you will apply for a temporary entry permit by presenting flight tickets and an accommodation booking. After a short check, you will be granted a temporary entry permit and then you can head to the immigration and finally to the city to enjoy your layover time in sightseeing and/or resting in the hotel.
