About:China Transit Visa

Transit Visa

I'll be travelling UK-Japan and then back Japan-China (Beijing)-UK. I plan on staying 4 days on the way back. Do I need to apply for a transit visa? Or can I just apply at the airport in Beijing when I land?

So you are a UK citizen and the route is like UK - Japan - China - UK? Then you qualify for the 240h visa-free transit so you do not need a transit visa and can apply at the airport in Beijing with your onward flight ticket back to UK within 10 days.
