pay by cash

I would like to ask a few questions
Is it possible to buy metro tickets with cash?
Are there ticket counters with staff where I can pay by cash, or do the ticket machines also accept cash?
Are cash payment options available at all metro stations?

You can buy tickets at self-service ticket machines with cash at most metro stations in Shanghai. If no machine accepts cash at some station, go to the manual service center.
