Hong Kong - Shenzhen - Hong Kong in 24h by train

Hi there!
I'm from Brazil and I'm planning to do a trip next week to Shenzhen leaving Hong Kong in the morning and returning in the afternoon/night.
Am I eligible for the TWOV (24h) or VOA (5 days)? Can I get those at Futian Train Station or only in LoWu Station?
Thank you in advance!

Hi, Pedro. Your itinerary is only eligible for Shenzhen 5-day VOA. It can be applied at Shekou, Huanggang, and Luohu Port rather than the train station, and there is a low risk of being rejected generally. 24h TWOV requires you to fly from and head to different countries or regions, so HK – Shenzhen – HK does not fit.

Doing Hong Kong - Shenzhen - Hong Kong route within 24 hours is possible only by obtaining a 5 days Shenzhen visa on arrival at Lo Wu / Luohu border crossing that you can reach by Hong Kong suburban train. Please, take care that Luohu visa office opening hours are 09:00 - 16:30 and it is highly advisable to be at the border crossing early in the morning, preferably before 09:00 to avoid the latter queues. The application for VOA costs 130 CNY. After your stay in Shenzhen you can return to Hong Kong by using any border crossing you want and by taking any mean of transport, high speed train included.Have a nice visit to Shenzhen.
