Multiple Transit Trips from Hong Kong to China

Hi, I am considering flying from U.S. to Hong Kong roundtrip for a few weeks vacation. Can I break up the visits to China from HK so that I can stay in HK in the middle of the few weeks, by going from/to a different place as HK, and use the 10day free entry transit permit two separate times? For example:

U.S.-HK 1day in HK;
HK-Korea: 3 days in Korea;
Korea-China: 1 week in China;
China-HK: 1 week in HK;
HK-Shekou-Guangzhou: 1 week in China;
Guangzhou-Zhuhai-Macau: 1 day in Macau;
Macau-(HK)-Taiwan: 3 days in Taiwan;
Taiwan-HK: 1 day in HK;
HK-U.S.

Does this require a Chinese visa, or can it use the free entry port transit permit/policy?

So it's like US - HK - Korea - China - HK - China - Macau? Yes, you can use the 240h visa free transit twice. Only the immediate stops before and after Chinese mainland matter.
