240-hour visa-free transit

Can you qualify for the 240-hour visa-free transit travel policy if you exit mainland China from a different airport to the one you arrived at. For example arriving at Shanghai Hongqiao airport and leaving via Shanghai Pudong airport?

Yes, it doesn't matter as long as they are both eligible ports (most international airports are eligible).
