Parents want to come to China for around 4 weeks

Hello, my parents (Dutch passport holders) want to come to China in April 2025. At that moment the visa free entry is 15 days. They would like to go to HongKong for some days after 2 weeks and then come back to China for 2 more weeks. Following the notes for visa free policy point 6 ("There are no restrictions on the number of visa-free entries or the total days of multiple entries") this is not a problem. Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks, Martin

Yes, there is no restrictions on the interval of two visa free entries. Notably, now Dutch people are granted 30-day visa free entry to China so your parents does not have to go to HK for another free entry as one 30-day entry will satisfy.

Thanks for your help to reply Zoe. That’s great news. I read in the text the visa free period is extended to 30 days. However that that starts from Nov-30, 2025. And they will visit before. From your feedback it is currently already 30 days?

It starts from Nov. 30, 2024 and is effective till Dec. 31, 2025 so it's already 30-day free entry now.

Hi Albert! That’s great! I read the text here on this website where Nov. 2025 is written. And it’s hard to find this kind of info on another website (at least for me it is). On the official Ch embassy for example I couldn’t find this info. Trust it’s all correct 😎🥂 When not they can enjoy their time in HK
