About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Mexican going from Hong Kong to Shenzhen

Staying a few days in Hong Kong before flying back to my country Mexico
Want to visit Shenzhen from Hong Kong by train/metro

Could I stay one night at Shenzhen?
How/where to apply for the 240 hour visa free visit?
Could I take the bullet train from Hong Kong?

Are you going back to HK after visiting Shenzhen? If yes, then you cannot use the 240h visa-free transit as it's a round trip to HK, not a transit. But you can apply for a Shenzhen 5-day VOA at Luohu, Shekou or Huanggang Port at a cost of CNY 130, in this case you cannot travel to SZ by train, but by ferry to Shekou or metro to Lo Wu in HK (Luohu in Shenzhen) to apply for it.

To be eligible for 240-hour visa-free transit, you need to fly out from Shenzhen to a third country or region instead of HK. Also, you need to take a ferry to arrive in Shenzhen from HK, bullet train is not an eligible travel way in this case.
