About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hong Kong to Guangzhou for one day on Ferry

My son and I will be staying in HK for one week (Him coming from and returning to UK) (Me coming from New Zealand / returning to UK). We would like to travel to Guangzhou on the ferry. Can we get a visa at the ferry port?

If you two go to GZ from HK and fly back to UK from GZ, then you two are eligible for the 240 hours visa free transit, and you can enter GZ through any port but remember to prepare the flight ticket returning to UK before entering.
