About:China Visa-free Policy

Exit to Kunming town during layover

Hi. I am Malaysia passport holder. plan fly to Beijing and Layover at Kunming for 11 hours. Am I allow to leave the airport for a city tour, then return later to continue the flight to Beijing ?

So your final destination is Beijing? I guess you will stay in China under the 30-day visa free policy, then you will go through the immigration check in Kunming, and after the checks, you can leave the airport for sightseeing.
