Advanced Purchase for End of March/Early April

I'm looking to pre-book train travel for late March and Early April.

Looking at the information it looks like the ticket purchase is not guaranteed as they are not actually on sale until 15 days before departure.

Is that correct?

Yes, the official release the tickets 15 days before departure. But you can book the tickets for March now with TravelChinaGuide who, on the releasing day, help grab tickets for you at the very first time.
