Will L visa be good for a 2-week volunteer in China?

I will volunteer to teach conversational English in a university in China for 2 weeks. I will volunteer half day and tour the other half day, I have a valid L visa, will it be okay? Thanks for your help.

I think you need an F visa for the volunteer work.
