Multiple Visa

I have a boyfriend he has a company in China, he is a businessman, He is asking me to visit him there. What requirements do i need to accomplish for Visa? I'm planning to have a Multiple Visa. Do I need his Invitation letter indicating its a business related ? so i can have Multiple Visa?

A tourist L visa or a S type may be suitable as your visit isn't business related actually. L or S visa with multiple entries are also possible. L visa may be easier to be obtained in your case.
