About:China Transit Visa

13 hours layover Guangzhou

Dear,
I am Venezuelan and have a 13,5 hours layover in Guangzhou on the way to my final destination Bangkok. I wish to explore the city for a bit and thus leaving the airport. Do I need a visa type G?

No, you don't need a G visa but you need to get a 24h visa free entry permit at the immigration counter upon landing, with which you can leave the airport for city sightseeing.
