About:Visa on Arrival

Louhu Port during Chinnese New Year

Hello, I have question during the Chinnese New Year at 29th Jan 2025 is the Louhu Port still open ?

Iam Indonesian nationality and I want to visit Shenzhen on this date and will apply VOA from Hongkong

Luohu Port (crossing) is open every day regardless of the nature of that day. In other words, Luohu Port or better to say its visa office will be open even during the Chinese New Year from 09:00 until 16:30. Regardless of the fact that this is an extremely popular holiday for Chinese people, you are still advised to arrive at the border crossing in the morning hours because the queues are quite possible. The best time to be in front of Luohu visa office is around 08:30 in the morning.
