About:Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka

High charges of travel companies

I asked few travel companies and they all are asking for 35-40K for a Chinese tourists visa. The visa cost is only 5850.
Can I apply by my self?

You can apply by yourself. The basic documents are:
Passport with at least 6-month validity
Visa Application Form and Photo
Documents showing the itinerary including air ticket booking record (round trip) and proof of a hotel reservation, etc. or an invitation letter issued by a relevant entity or individual in China.
Just fill in the application form online, print it out and sign and take all the materials to the Embassy without appointmkent.
