About:International Trains from/to China

Beijing to Ulaanbaatar or Return

I am planning a trip to Mongolia in August/September 2025, is there even a slim possibility that the K23 or similar will be running by then?

We had better not expect that. Actually you can take a bullet train from Beijing to Hohhot (around 2.5 hours only), then take the Hohhot - Ulaanbataar international train.
