About:Chengdu Tianfu International Airport

I have 2 Question, I would like to ask and which is more better alternative when traveling from Chengdu City Center to (Chengdu Tianfu Airport).
1st Option: Taking the high speed train from Chengdu east railway station to (Chengdu Tianfu Airport).
or
2nd Option: Taking the Line 18 Express train from Chengdu south railway station to (Chengdu Tianfu Airport).
I have seen both option, however I can't seem to find anything regarding the 1st option on the internet. It seem that the most prefer option is to take 2nd option. But however, the 2nd option is much faster and more convenient .
So could someone recommend me which option would be better, and if you have any experience with option 1, do share your experiences. Thanks again! :)
