About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

How is chinese 15 days free visa start count

Hi, I will travel to China on 12 Nov-27 Nov and will arrive at 11pm. Should I wait until midnight 12 Nov to clear the immigration? If I do before midnight (between 11pm and midnight 12 Nov) does that mean the 15 days visa free starts at 12 Nov or the next day which is 13 Nov? Thanks!

You can stay continuously in China until 24:00 of the 15th calendar day from the day of entry. That is, if you enter before 24:00 on Nov. 12, then Nov. 12 is the first day, then you should leave before 24:00, Nov. 26. And if you enter after 00:00 of Nov. 13 (24:00 on No. 12), Nov. 13 is the first day, then leave before 24:00, Nov. 27.
