Hangzhou to Wuzhen by rental car or taxi

Has anyone traveled from Hangzhou to Wuzhen by rented car or taxi? What’s the approximate cost? I have 4 members (2 elderly). Is it convenient? And which side should we visit if we have only one day? If we also want to rent a Hanfu outfit, which side should we start with?

You can charter a car for a day trip from Hangzhou to Wuzhen. The price for one day may be CNY300-500 per car. It's pretty convenient and you can start from whichever side as Hangzhou west lake and Wuzhen both have Hanfu rental service.
