Hi I would like to know how to pay for the metro and bus ride in Kunming

You can apply for a e-transportation card if you have WeChat or Alipay to pay for bus and metro. You can also buy metro tickets at the service centers or self-service machines at the stations with cash. Buses accept cash but no change back.
