About:China Flight

Domestic flights in China with no passport

I see a similar question to mine has been asked several years ago so I'm wondering if anyone has more recent information.

My passport is currently with the Bureau while my residence permit is being prepared. I've travelled by train and stayed in hotels with the receipt given to me but am wondering if this will also work for flying domestic in China.

I see others sharing that he took flights and trains with the receipt so I think you can also use it for domestic flights.
