Visa on Arrival success rate?

I would like to check regarding the success rate of applying for a visa on arrival to Shenzhen. These are my circumstances:
-Philippine national currently studying in Hong Kong for graduate school and with Hong Kong residency (without limit of stay)
-Current passport has two Chinese visas, one of which was issued and used just last year

How good would my chances for obtaining a visa on arrival be in this case?

Thank you!

Your chances are definitely very good especially because of the two Chinese visas in your passport. I would say that you will be granted a visa with very high certainty. As always, it is highly recommended to arrive at the border crossing even before the beginning of the opening hours of visa office.

Thanks for your reply! I am concerned though since I heard that the success rate for Philippine passport holders is quite low, but I guess it also depends on individual circumstances? Perhaps the past visas and my Hong Kong residency + student status helps in this regard?

Yes, your previous visas are the most important detail in your successful application for 5 days Shenzhen VOA. By the way, it is true that the success rate for the citizens of the Philippines is low, but it is also true that they are granted this particular visa on individual basis.
