About:10-Year China Visa for UK Citizens

Residence Requirements Applying for 10yr Visa

I am a UK citizen currently in China on a Q2 visa. I married to Chinese national and over the years I have had more than 5 Multiple Entry Q2 visa's, with validity varying from 2yrs to 3yrs, and duration of stay between 90-180 days.

I have not resided in the UK for over 30yrs, and all of my previous China visa were issued while resident in Hong Kong, however I am no longer a Hong Kong resident but now have a Thailand retirement visa, can I apply for the 10yr China Visa in Thailand or in China?

I'm not sure as I see no similar cases. One thing to know is that only US, Canada and UK citizens are eligible for 10-year visa, so it's not very impossible to get it in Thailand. Maybe you can contact the local exit and entry administration in China to see if they have a solution.
