About:Shanghai Cruise Ports

Is Visa needed for 3d's in Shanghai after RC cruise, Sept24

I'm taking 2 Royal Caribbean cruises from Shanghai on 15Sep24 and then on22Sep24, back to back. After that, I am planning to stay in Shanghai for 3-4 days. Do I need a Visa? If so, what kind? USA citizen. Thank you

If the previous stop is a foreign country or region and you will leave for another country from Shanghai after 4-day tour in Shanghai, then you are eligible for the 144-hour visa free and do not need a visa.

Hello Joshua. Thankyou for your reply. One of my questions was: Do I need to notify Chinese Authority between my cruises? I am taking back-to-back 2 cruises and will not leave the RC cruise ship between them. The cruise ship will come back to Baoshan at 07:00 and leave at 17:00 on the same day, I am staying in. Thanks.
