About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Egyptian Vienna-Beijing-Osaka and Osaka-Beijing-Vienna

Hello,

I am an Egyptian living in Austria, I am looking at flights that have a transit stop in Beijing (outbound 3-4h and inbound 8h). First am I eligible for the 24h visa free? and does it work for both routes or there has to be a specific period between flying in Osaka and out of Osaka?

Yes, you are undoubtedly eligible for 24 hour visa free transit and you do not need any kind of visa. Since your transit times are relatively short and if you do not plan to exit the airport, you will just walk from one to the other gate without being a subject to immigration and customs inspections. You will just cross a security check between the two gates and spend your time airside. Have a pleasant journey.
