Visit Visa for my wife (tourist)

Hello,

I am planning to go visit Hong Kong end of November 2024, going to submit visit visa for my wife this week or by end of week latest.

I am currently living in UK (british citizen) and I also hold Hong Kong ID.
Can I be sponsor for my wife's application to visit Hong Kong? She just graduated from university so she doesnt have full time job yet (only part time jobs)

I read, sponsor have to be a resident of Hong Kong? I do hold Hong Kong ID but i live full time in UK. Can I still sponsor my wife's application? And what would i need to provide? ( are these enough? 3 months bank statement/payslips/job letter, flight and accommodation proof and travel itinerary)

Thanks

According to the immigration department of HK, the sponsor should be:
of the age of 18 or above;
a bona fide Hong Kong resident;
acquainted with the applicant; and financially capable to support the applicant and provide him/her with accommodation.
I'm not sure if you are quialified as you may not be a bona fide HK resident for you actually live in the UK and may have no much life record in HK. I think you need to ensure it by contact the immigration. The email: enquiryimmd.gov.hk
And the documents you mentioned are enough.
