using alipay for metro ticket

Hi, Im staying at Jin Jiang Pacific Hotel and would like to do some sightseeing that is relative close by not only by walking but metro too. I was told I could purchase metro ticket through Alipay app, Im having difficulty working that out from my home country as its wanting more information. Also, are there good train stations near my hotel that will take me to sightseeing places. ta
