About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Lay over in. Shenzhen

I have a lay over for 3 hours in Shenzhen going to Japan. I will not go out of the airport. Do i need a visa if I just stay at the airport? my passport of from the Philippines.

You do not need any kind of visa because your transit will be covered by 24 hour visa free transit. In reality, you will just walk from one to the other gate and you will not be a subject to immigration and customs control. You will just cross a security control and that's it. Enjoy your journey.
