What skill should I focus on?

I am interested in psychology and philosophy as I believe they hold answers to a good life but I am currently living in an area where there is no hope and neighbors hate to see one changing

For my point of view, hope does not stay in somewhere but is found by someone who really pursues it. I believe you can find answers from what you are interested in.
