About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Does Uk citizen need a transit visa in Shenzhen Bao’an Airport, (flying London> Shenzhen>Vientiane?

Hello, I am a UK citizen (Uk passport) flying from Heathrow to Shenzhen Bao’an Airport, then after 7 hours flying on with the same Shenzhen Airlines carrier with baggage checked through to Vientiane (Wattay) airport in Laos where I have a multi-entry visa. Do I need to get a transit visa please for Shenzhen? - I do not have to leave the transit area to collect luggage.

James, you do not need any kind of visa. Your itinerary will be covered by 24 hour visa free transit, so no visa needed. Also, you will just walk from one to the other gate and you will not be a subject to immigration and customs inspection in Shenzhen. You do not need to perform any formality and also you do not have to fill out any single form. Everything you will do is to spend your time in Shenzhen airside in some meaningful way. Just proceed with your travel plans in a relaxed way and have a pleasant journey.
