About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Travelling to Shanghai and Taipei

Hi, Leaving Manchester and I am travelling to Shanghai for 5 days, a connecting flight to Taipei for 5 days, returning to Shanghai for a further 4 days before returning to Manchester. Can I get 2 x 144 hour transit visa to cover my entrance in China ona uk passport?

Yes, of course you can. Your itinerary is definitely and undeniably eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in wider Shanghai area twice. It is important that beside Shanghai you do not have any additional landing somewhere else in mainland China. As far as you know it is not allowed to have two mainland Chinese cities in a row when traveling on 144 hour visa free transit. I assume that your flights will be of nonstop flights from Manchester to Shanghai and from Shanghai to Taipei and vice versa and if my assumption is correct, you are good to go.
