Business Visa Application

Dear Sir/Madam , I am Ghanaian passport holder and I have a company in Shanghai but I am residing in the Philippines now . I would like to know if it’s possible for me to apply for a Chinese business visa through a friend without being present since it’s more convenient ? Thank you.
