About:8 Tips for Filling Out Chinese Visa Application Form

Questions regarding If I have visited China

My mother still lives in HK and I visited her in Nov/2023. I do have HK smart ID card. The Visa Application form asks If I have traveled to China recently.
I regard HK as part of China, so I should click YES?
If HK is regarded as SAR, then I should click NO?
Please confirm. Thanks

I think you should click no as HK has its own immigration administration though it's undoubtedly a part of China.
