6 week China Visa?

Hi I have an Australian passport and would like to visit China for 6 weeks as a tourist. Do I book flights and hotels, then submit Visa application with all the documents and if approved, they will give me a 60 day China Visa? Also, I have been to China before, twice, and the Visas are in my old expired passport. Do I photocopy those old expired China Visas and submit them with the new application as well? Thank you

It's hard to say if you can get a 60-day duration as the duration of stay of a tourist visa is usually 15-30 days, but you can try to apply for it. You can provide your old passport with previous visa to the consular office; it will be a great helper for the new visa application.

Hi thanks for your response. How about I apply for a double entry within 6 months and stay in China for 30 days max per entry? Is that possible? For example, I fly to China for 30 days then go to HK for a week then back to China for another 30 days, possible?
