About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Connection in guangzhou

Tow Israeli passports , we have a flight on 14.7 from Bangkok>Guangzhou>Mongolia
, the connection at Guangzhou is 5 hours long and it is a self transfer , we need to get a visa for the connection? I will be glad if you can answer soon , thank you 🙏🏻

This is not a problem since you are allowed to enjoy 24 hour visa free transit. Now, as far as I know, although I could be wrong, there is no direct flight from Guangzhou to Mongolia. I assume that you plan to connect through some additional Chinese airport, but you should have in mind that you can do that within 24 hours counting from your first scheduled arrival in China, in your case in Guangzhou, until your final scheduled departure from, for example, Beijing. If you are within those time frames, you can enjoy 24 hour visa free transit and you do not need any kind of visa. Also, separate tickets and unrelated airlines are fine and permitted.
