Rejection of a Chinese visa

I am applying for the X2 visa and when they asking for my employment information I put the name where I work. Later, I noticed that I did not put the name of the company for legal purposes. Could I be refused a visa because of this?

X2 visa is for short-term study in China. As you mentioned a company and employment I guess you need a work Z visa, not a X2 visa. It should not be a problem to put the company name for visa application.
