Visa Application

I live in FL and plan to travel in Nov 2024. After completing my application on line, I must go to Wash, DC to process the application? Will the embassy/consulate process my visa request right away? Should I plan to be there several days waiting? I'll be out of the country the month before my travel dates and will need to manage this before I depart.

Yes, you need to go the China Embassy in Wash. DC to submit your applications. The process may take 4-5 working days normally. If you cannot pick up the visa on your own, you may entrust someone else to pick it up with the pick-up bill and other required documents.
