About:China Visa Application in USA

china visa from India for USA citizen

I am US citizen living in Chicago. I am visiting India for 3 months., during these 3 months, I want to visit China for a week. Where should I apply for Visa from India or Chicago?, how much fees I have to pay?

Sorry to tell that you cannot apply for China visa in India and you need to apply in your home country at a cost of USD140. Also, China visa is usually valid for 3 months, so you need to plan well when to apply for it.
