Double entry L visa

Hello,
We are flying to China on July 27 and back to Spain on August 29. We booked these flights because they were the cheapest option. This makes our stay longer than 30 days and now we're afraid that we will not get the visa. The way we try to solve this is by applying for a double entry L visa, then visiting Hong Kong before the first 30 days are over. If we understood it correctly, each time we enter China we get a 30 days "duration of stay" during the whole validity of the visa (3 months), right?
Thanks in advance for your support!
Best regards,
Pau

Usually the validity of a double entry L visa is 6 months, which means you can enter China Mainland twice within 6 months and stay for 30 days each time. Hope everything goes well with you.
