About:Visa on Arrival

help i used my 1 time entry visa already

hi im a Australian passport holder
i entered china via Guangzhou airport and went to hong kong for a day trip holiday. Im now unable to re-enter china becuase i was unaware of my 1 entry visa

my flight back to Australia is at Guangzhou airport, what can id do??

can i get a 5 day shenzen visa and fly out of Guangzhou or do i have to fly out via shenzhen?

Your best option is to fly from Hong Kong to Guangzhou on a direct flight and to connect your already booked flight from Guangzhou to some other country. This is fine because you as Australian can use both 24 or 144 hour visa free transit, but the condition is to enter Guangdong province by air.

If you decide for 5 day Shenzhen VOA, you can fly out from Shenzhen, but not Guangzhou. Also, your flight from Shenzhen is not allowed to have any additional landing within mainland China of any kind.
