Outbound Ticket

Hi, I am Italian and flying to Shenzhen next month. I am not sure yet of how long I will want to stay in China. I was planning to stay for 15 days initially with the option to go to Hong Kong and back in case I wanted to stay longer. Do I need to provide an outbound ticket within the 15 days? And would a train ticket to Hong Kong be enough? Thank you!

Yes, you will need a outbound ticket to prove that you won't over stay. And the train ticket is OK, note that you should print out the ticket and hold it in hand for the inspection.
