About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Chengdu

Melbourne --> Chengdu --> Cairo

I have an Egyptian Passport and I will be going by the route Melbourne --> Chengdu --> Cairo, with a tranist timing of 20 hours what do I need to do, to be able to visit Chengdu till the next flight?

You enjoy the 24-hour visa-free entry so you just need to go through the border inspection (and if you transfer at Chengdu Tianfu Airport then you have no check at all, just getting your boarding pass). And if you want to leave the airport for sightseeing, then you need to get the 24-hour entry permit at the border inspection counter.
