We are travelling with elderly and kids from Beijing to Shanghai. Advisable to travel with luggage?

We plan to visit Beijing for 4 days and then go over to Shanghai during end November. As we are travelling with elderly and kids, will it be difficult to board the train with luggages?

You can travel with luggage. To ensure a smooth trip, I advise that the dimension of each luggage should be no more than 130cm and no more than 20kg. It's not difficult to board the train with luggage. You can ask the staff for help.
