Shenzhen VOA is valid for 5 days only. In reality, the first day is counted at the beginning of the day after your entry, so this is basically 6 days.
It is definitely discouraged to try to obtain a visa on arrival at Shenzhen airport. You should not do that. In other words, the only three places where one should count to obtain a Shenzhen VOA are: Huanggang and Lo Wu (Luohu) overland border crossings and Shekou sea border crossing. The latter being the best option because by taking a ferry from Hong Kong to Shekou port in Shenzhen you will avoid queues that are a usual sight at the above mentioned overland border crossings. You should also have in mind the opening hours of these border crossings, usually from 09:00 until 16:00 or so, with the detail that Shekou closes between 13:00 and 14:30.
One more detail... The price for Shenzhen VOA for Argentinian citizens is steep 1,038 CNY based on reciprocity.
