About:China Train

Travelling from Hong Kong to Guilin

Hi
1) If we miss our train from HK to Guilin, can we take the next train on the same day? Will there be extra charge for the reschedule?
2) If we miss our train from HK to Guilin, what steps should we take for rescheduling to the next available train.
3) Can we contact you for help if we miss the train?
4) Once we receive the e-ticket from you, is there any way we can validate the ticket through an official agency?

Hi Lili,

1. There are only 3 trains from HK to Guilin everyday. If you miss the train, it is available to change the next train on the same day for free at the ticket counter of the train station. But it will charge 40% of ticket fare by China Rail if you change to the train of the next day.

2. You have to reschedule it at the ticket counter of the HK train station.

3. As it cannot be changed on internet so we cannot help you with that.

4. You will get a confirmation through e-mail and you can check it with the official website of China Railway: 12306.cn. It is also available to check it at the ticket counter of the train station.
